With a nod to history, Heaven Hill Master Distillers Unity blends together bourbons from the hands of three master distillers at Heaven Hill into a satisfying sip.

Heaven Hill Master Distillers Unity was created to commemorate the grand opening of the new Heaven Hill Springs Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, in September 2025. Just 27 barrels make up this release, with one single barrel being the historical star of the blend. This 34 year old single barrel is “the last remaining barrel that was distilled at the historic Old Heaven Hill Springs Distillery in 1991 by the legendary Parker Beam and aged for 34 years,” according to Heaven Hill.

The remaining barrels in the blend play into the bourbon's Unity moniker, due to the fact that they were distilled at Bernheim Distillery by former Master Distillers Parker Beam and Denny Potter, as well as current Master Distiller Conor O’Driscoll. States O’Driscoll, “It is a rare opportunity to share a Bourbon that tells the story of where we’ve been, while also celebrating where we are going. Heaven Hill Master Distillers Unity is not just a bottle—it is a living legacy, a bridge between our past and present created to mark one of the most important milestones in Heaven Hill’s journey and in the broader Bourbon industry.” Heaven Hill Master Distillers Unity is a limited release comprising approximately 4,000 bottles.

Parker Beam elicits many thoughts in the bourbon space, the most common being the innovative offerings of the Parker’s Heritage Collection and the course he set for the ongoing annual limited releases. The uniqueness factor is off the charts for the release of Heaven Hill Master Distillers Unity, thanks to the last remaining barrel distilled by Parker Beam at the Old Heaven Hill Springs Distillery. While one 34 year old barrel of whiskey will have seen a significant angel's share evaporation loss, the remaining 26 barrels in the blend deliver a solid supporting base.

The resulting bourbon is both sweet and oak-influenced, starting with a delicious aroma that rides in on rich oak, brown sugar, and buttery leather, all making you pause to really enjoy it before moving on in the sip. The rest of the sip leans into a familiar theme of spice, oak, and sweetness, with the palate also delivering an intriguing light, uncooked mushroom note. Ending on lingering sweet and gentle spice notes, the bourbon makes you appreciate the three men who helped contribute to this blend in some way, shape, or form. Overall, it’s a really good bourbon, and fans of the brand will be happy to get their hands on a piece of history.
