Bobby Jones was one of the most influential individuals in the sport of golf. Jones was the only golfer to achieve the original “Grand Slam'' by winning all four of the major championships of his time in the same calendar year. In 1930, at the age of 28, Jones won:

The Clover Whiskey Collection is a tribute to Jones’s accomplishments.  According to the company, “The Clover” refers to the four-leaf medallion Bobby’s mother gave him for good fortune. Each leaf of a four-leaf clover is said to hold a different meaning: Hope, Faith, Love, Luck.

The company focuses on three distinct single barrel whiskey products with their rye, Tennessee whiskey, and bourbon, with their bourbon being sourced from Indiana. This particular single barrel offers a light but sweet nose that draws you in. While the rest of the sip is pleasing if not more on the mediocre side, this is clearly a product aimed at the lovers of golf due to its branding.

The Clover brand line was initially launched in the Spring of 2020 with a run of 24,000 bottles. The bottle being reviewed comes from barrel #D-007.
