The 2026 edition of Starlight Distillery 10 Year Reserve Bourbon delivers on its double-digit age statement with oak-driven flavors and ample depth throughout, making it a notable release for fans of this growing family-run Indiana distillery that’s rich with history.

Located on the grounds of the Huber estate in Starlight, Indiana, this family-run distillery has roots that date back to 1843. The location is a tourist attraction, and they produce everything from wine to brandy and whiskeys. Starlight Distillery began distilling bourbon in 2013, and in July 2025, released their highest aged whiskey to date at 10 years old. The 2026 release marks the second batch of 10 year old bourbon released by Starlight Distillery. It’s a 10 barrel blend, which features a combination of two mashbills covering four grains, and totals only 2,000 bottles.

The bourbon is a classic affair that leans heavily into its higher age, which is evident throughout the sip. Aged oak, leather, tobacco, and slight spice on the nose give way to a savory midpoint. Seasoned oak, leather, clove, and tobacco are most evident, with honey and toffee adding a layer of sweetness and depth. Aged seasoned ok, caramel, leather, and tobacco are followed quickly by caramelized brown sugar and baking spices on the long, slightly dry finish.

The 2026 edition of Starlight Distillery 10 Year Reserve Bourbon drinks very much like the 2025 version, which is a nod to Starlight Distillery as they are working with some of the early barrels they laid down just a few years into distilling. It’s a traditional affair, with plenty of depth and oak-inspired flavors, and leans more dry and savory than sweet. It’s fair to acknowledge the fact that this is a bourbon that will draw fans of Starlight Distillery above anyone else, as it comes in at a premium price point. With only 2,000 bottles available, it’s worth picking up if you are among those avid fans of this growing distillery.
