Granor Farm
THREE OAKS, MI — June 18, 2025 — Granor Farm, the certified organic farm and acclaimed culinary destination in Southwest Michigan (80 miles outside of Chicago), formally unveils its new micro-distillery and line of small-batch spirits and liqueurs. The new on-site distillery is a natural next step for Granor Farm, which began in 2006 as a 10-acre vegetable and educational farm, and has since grown into a 400-acre destination, drawing visitors from around the world for elegant farm dinners, immersive farm tours, curated shopping, and more. With its new spirits program, Granor Farm adds an exciting new offering to its already unmatched agriculturally driven experience.
The Granor Farm Experience: A Model for Agricultural Hospitality
Founded in 2006 by husband-wife team Rob Buono and Liz Cicchelli, Granor Farm aims to bring people closer to the land, offering direct, immersive experiences of how food is grown, prepared, and shared. Since its founding, Granor Farm has continued to diversify its offerings in pursuit of that mission, and today cultivates over 300 varieties of vegetables, herbs, flowers, grains, and fruit. These ingredients power every element of the Granor Farm experience, including:
Granor Spirits
The new spirits program is an extension of Granor’s grain initiative, which began in 2014 with just a few acres of winter rye and now includes a robust catalog of heritage and landrace varieties of wheat, barley, and corn, all organically grown and stored on-farm. The spirits are produced in extremely limited quantities, fewer than 1,000 bottles per batch, and are available exclusively at the Granor Farm Store and select regional partners. New offerings debuting this summer include:
Granor Dry Gin (47% ABV, SPR $48), which begins with soft red winter wheat cultivated on the farm, provides a smooth, mellow base that lets a vibrant array of botanicals shine. Inspired by a London dry style, the gin features classic juniper and coriander layered with herbs like rosemary, thyme, dill seed, celery leaf, and lemon verbena, all cultivated at Granor. The result is a bright, aromatic gin that captures the essence of the farm’s ecosystem.
Granor Semi-Sweet Vermouth (19% ABV, SRP $28), which blends Traminette and Valvin Muscat grapes from Michigan’s Leelanau Peninsula with brandy and a botanical infusion including wormwood, rhubarb root, marjoram, orange peel, and Montmorency cherry. Bright and herbaceous with warm spice and orchard fruit, it’s equally at home in a cocktail or sipped over ice.
Granor Dry Gin and Granor Semi-Sweet Vermouth are available in 750ml and 375ml bottles.
Granor’s first bourbon, distilled from 100% farm-grown grains including Wapsie Valley, Bloody Butcher, and Blue corn, is aging on-site, and Granor’s first rye whiskey, distilled from 100% Granor Farm-grown rye, with both releases planned for fall 2025. The launch will coincide with new immersive tasting experiences that incorporate all aspects of the farm.
