The Whiskey Rebellion Trail, a multi-regional trail that celebrates the first chapter of American Whiskey, will launch on July 12. Buffalo Trace Distillery continues its homage to former Distillery owner Colonel E. H. Taylor, Jr. with a special release bourbon whiskey using Amaranth as the flavoring grain instead of rye. This 100 proof Bottled-In-Bond small batch bourbon was aged over a decade and is a special one-time-only release.
Kentucky Peerless Distilling Company announced the inaugural release of their first Bourbon in 102 years. The release date to the public was June 22, 2019 honoring the Third Generation Roy “Ace” Taylor, Jr. on his birthday. Peerless opened the doors at 10 a.m. and sold out before closing time at 5 p.m.
Barton 1792 Distillery unveils the latest in its line of limited edition releases, 1792 Aged Twelve Years. Using the same rye recipe as its flagship 1792 Small Batch Bourbon, the Aged Twelve Years expression is 96.6 proof and will be available next month.
King of Kentucky is returning this summer with the release of its second edition/expression. Hitting shelves in early July, it will be the second release for the brand.
