Press Release

MIAMI, FL & FALLON, NV (May 7, 2024) – Today, farm-to-glass American Whiskey brand Frey Ranch Distillery announced that it has struck a distribution agreement with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer’s) – the world’s preeminent distributor of beverage alcohol. Effective immediately, the national distribution deal covers all on- and off-premise accounts in both open and control states where Frey Ranch is currently sold, including California, Texas, Ohio, Oregon, and the brand’s home state of Nevada. Later this year, Frey Ranch will expand into Florida and Indiana with support from Southern Glazer’s.

Since joining forces back in 2019 to forge a presence for the Nevada-based brand, the relationship between Frey Ranch Distillery and Southern Glazer’s has grown at a steady pace. The wider distribution agreement signifies a commitment to showcase the American Whiskey’s unique farm-to-glass approach while shining a spotlight on craft brands with positive momentum and long-term potential.

“As Frey Ranch celebrates 10 years of whiskey distilling, we can’t think of a better outcome for our growth trajectory than partnering with Southern Glazer’s,” said Colby Frey, Co-Founder, Frey Ranch Distillery. “The team at Southern Glazer’s has the ability to transform our business and put us on the path to distribution in all 50 states. We appreciate the care, consideration, and route-to-market muscle they put behind craft brands like Frey Ranch to realize our full potential in the marketplace.”

As one of only a few true “estate distilleries” in the U.S., Frey Ranch Distillery has put Nevada on the map as a serious producer of American Whiskey with its unique farm-to-glass operation. Growing 100 percent of the grains used to create its award-winning portfolio of bourbons, ryes and specialty whiskeys, Frey Ranch oversees all aspects of its production to make the highest quality whiskeys that spotlight each grain. This year, Frey Ranch celebrates a decade of whiskey distilling and will release a special grain-forward “anniversary edition” to mark the occasion.
