Press Release

Georgetown, KY - [March 23, 2026] – Blue Run Spirits, the award-winning, ultra-premium whiskey brand, is launching a new partnership with the Atlanta Braves to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the franchise in Atlanta and the start of the 2026 baseball season. In honor of Opening Day at Truist Park on Friday, March 27, Blue Run and the Atlanta Braves will release a limited-edition, commemorative bottle of Kentucky Straight High Rye Bourbon that pays tribute to the tradition of the game.

This collaboration underscores the Braves’ and Blue Run’s mutual commitment to excellence and tradition, bringing together two distinguished brands dedicated to creating quality, memorable experiences for diverse generations of fans.

This exclusive retail release of Atlanta Braves Blue Run Kentucky Straight High Rye Bourbon features the signature Blue Run French-cut glass bottle, with precious metal elements, elevated with a hand-applied Atlanta Braves viceroy butterfly, as well as a custom Braves neck label and tax strip.

The Bourbon itself is a home run. The featured whiskey is Blue Run’s Kentucky Straight High Rye Bourbon, bottled at 111 proof. The expression balances a rich flavor profile peppered with rye spice and has earned numerous prestigious accolades, including Platinum and Gold honors at the ASCOT Awards, TAG Global Spirits Awards, and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

“Opening Day is essentially the first pour of a new season,” said Katy McBrady, General Manager, Blue Run Spirits. “Much like a fine bourbon, baseball is a game defined by patience and precision, where the layers of tradition are what truly create a masterpiece. We are thrilled that our first retail collaboration with a Major League Baseball team is with such an iconic franchise as the Atlanta Braves and are proud to offer fans a premium way to toast the start of the 2026 season.”

“This commemorative whiskey captures the hope and anticipation of Opening Day, while blending the rich traditions of both baseball and fine whiskey,” said Jim Allen, Atlanta Braves Senior Vice President of Corporate and Premium Partnerships. “This limited-edition bottle is more than just a drink; it's a collector's item, a symbol of our shared excitement, and the perfect way for fans to celebrate the start of another thrilling Braves season.”

To support the launch, Blue Run will provide retailers with specialized point-of-sale (POS) tools to drive visibility in-store. The bottles will be available mid-March at select fine spirits retailers across Georgia with a suggested price of $79.99.
