The Ingram Distillery
COLUMBUS, KY (October 7, 2025) – The Ingram Distillery today announced the arrival of its 2025 Flagship Bourbon. Released just once a year, Ingram’s Flagship Bourbon is a highly coveted, ultra-premium expression that is meant to showcase River Aging at its best.
Traditionally, flagship is a term reserved for the most impressive vessel in a fleet. The Ingram Distillery’s Flagship Bourbon is no exception. Every vintage of Flagship is a unique blend of its finest barrels of the year and is personally crafted by Ingram’s Master Blender Scott Beyer.
This year marks the fifth Flagship Bourbon release. Batch 5 is more than a small batch, it is a micro batch. With a proof of 116.5, it is a blend of only eight high-rye bourbon barrels with a mashbill of 36% Rye, 60% Corn, and 4% Malted Barley.
“Every Flagship release is unique, with its own character and flavor produced by our river aging process,” said Founder and Proprietor Hank Ingram. “This year, we selected and blended from just eight barrels to produce what we believe is a truly extraordinary bourbon. We’ve accomplished much in 2025 and the release of our Flagship is the perfect way to celebrate as we turn to the fall. I would tell any bourbon lover to act quickly before these bottles are gone.”
The release of the 2025 Flagship Bourbon continues a year of heavy activity and continued positive momentum for The Ingram Distillery. It added to its fleet a new Kentucky wheated bourbon, Uncharted, that is packaged in 100% recycled glass. The Ingram Distillery also came to market in Alaska and Texas recently, meaning its award-winning whiskies are now available in eight states.
2025 Flagship Bourbon tasting notes:
Inside the original floating barrelhouses, The Ingram Distillery whiskey barrels spend their years exposed to the magic of the Mississippi River. The motion of the river, its high humidity, and natural daily heat cycling ensure that the whiskey never stops working. We call it Mellowed on the Mississippi. You can see full details about the unique aging process here.

About The Ingram Distillery
The Ingram Distillery was founded in 2015, when Hank Ingram pioneered the first permanent floating rickhouses to age award-winning whiskies in Western Kentucky.
Moored on the banks of the Mississippi River in Columbus, KY, The Ingram Distillery’s barrelhouses were custom built inside former grain barges. They now house a 2-story barrel maturation operation that never leaves the water. While having a similar look to those on land, Ingram’s barrelhouses have a very different feel.
The Ingram Distillery creates the only whiskey in the world that spends its entire life on the Mississippi River – years of exposure to the microclimate and humidity of the river, along with its constant motion, creates complexity through a unique interaction between whiskey and oak.
Presently available on shelves in Alaska, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin, as well as online via Seelbach’s.
