Starlight, Indiana (August 26, 2026) — Starlight Distillery is proud to announce the release of its 10-Year Mizunara Reserve—the oldest bourbon finished in Mizunara they have made to date.

The product is made from one singular Mizunara cask to celebrate the winning of the best overall bourbon in the San Francisco international spirits competition last November. This release will only be 250 bottles total, with the online lottery opening at noon on Friday, August 28th HERE and running through September 12th, offering 200 bottles for shipping to lottery winners. On Saturday September 12th, the remaining 50 bottles will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at Starlight Distillery (19816 Huber Road, Borden IN).

Production:

• Single barrel, cask strength, farm-to-bottle utilizing grains from Starlight's 700+ acre farm
• Sweet mash process and double pot distilled on their Vendome copper pot still
• 1 barrel of Starlight's 10-year signature 3 grain bourbon mash bills
• 60% corn, 20% rye, 20% malted barley
• Barrel Entry Proof: 108-116 proof
• Bottling Proof: 110 proof

Cooperage:

• First barrel: Fire-charred, new American white oak barrels
• Second barrel: 200-500 year-old Japanese Mizunara Oak, grown in the northernmost island of Japan

Tasting notes:

• Notes of sweet French Vanilla and baking spice aromas up front, finishing with a harmonious mix of sandalwood and coconut that compliments this sophisticated and elegant whiskey.
