Louisville Music Festival Alliance, Mayor Craig Greenberg, and Danny Wimmer Presents Announce Festival Pregame Events "Rock the Ville" and "Bourbon, Brunch, & Bluegrass"

LOUISVILLE, KY (September 8, 2026) - In partnership with Mayor Craig Greenberg, Danny Wimmer Presents, the Louisville Music Festival Alliance is excited to announce two festival pregame events. Rock The Ville takes place at Fourth Street Live! on Saturday, September 19th as a Louder Than Life pregame event while Bourbon, Brunch, & Bluegrass returns to the NuLu neighborhood on Saturday, September 26th as a pregame event to Bourbon & Beyond. Both events are official DWP pregame events and will feature food & drink specials from local businesses, live music, ticket and merch giveaways, contests, live art, special activations and more.

Rock The Ville will run from 10am to 1pm and feature a Fit Check Fashion Show when guests can rock their best festival fits for a chance to win prizes from Louder Than Life. There will be additional contests such as Bourbon Tray Carrying and Best Air Guitar.

Bourbon, Brunch, & Bluegrass runs from 11am to 3pm on S. Shelby St. between Market St. and Jefferson St. in the NuLu neighborhood. This year’s event will feature a Vinyl Record Show and a Vintage Festival Merch Swap.

Both events will feature a full bar along with a commemorative photo op, live bourbon barrel art, and plenty of local food offerings. TARC will be providing free shuttle passes out to the festival grounds while supplies last.

These events are free to attend and are made possible through support from the Delta Dental, Stock Yards Bank & Trust, Mayor Craig Greenberg, Danny Wimmer Presents, Fourth Street Live, NuLu Business Association, Louisville Tourism, NuLu Marketplace, TARC, and the Louisville Music Festival Alliance.

Attendees are encouraged to visit the local bars and restaurants located within each event area as they will be having their own specials and offerings for the festival weekends.
