NEW YORK, Aug. 12, 2025 - World Whiskey Society (WWS) is raising a glass to the Wild West legend with a bold new chapter in its acclaimed Doc Holliday bourbon line. In celebration of Doc Holliday's birthday on August 14, WWS proudly unveils four new expressions—Doc Holliday's first-ever cask-finished releases—including:

  • Doc Holliday 8-Year Bourbon – Oloroso Sherry Finish
  • Doc Holliday 13-Year Bourbon – Oloroso Sherry Finish
  • Doc Holliday 8-Year Bourbon – Armagnac Finish
  • Doc Holliday 13-Year Bourbon – Armagnac Finish

An American icon, John Henry "Doc" Holliday was a dentist-turned-gunslinger best known for his role in the legendary Gunfight at the O.K. Corral and his infamous friendship with lawman Wyatt Earp. A symbol of grit, defiance, and frontier spirit, Doc Holliday's legacy lives on in the bold character of this namesake bourbon line.

Crafted in Kentucky and aged to perfection, each expression marks a blend of tradition and innovation. Finished in rare fortified wine and brandy casks, these bourbons bring new dimension to the rich, full-bodied character that defines the Doc Holliday name.

To mark the occasion, World Whiskey Society is offering an exclusive 14% off all Doc Holliday products for one day only—August 14—with promo code HBDDocHolliday. The offer is available exclusively at worldwhiskey.com/collections/doc-holliday.

Doc Holliday 8-Year Bourbon – Oloroso Sherry Finish
A rich, limited-edition Straight Bourbon finished in Oloroso Sherry casks. Distilled with a mash bill of 78% corn, 13% rye, and 9% malted barley, this expression offers notes of caramelized sugar, dark chocolate, toasted almonds, and dried fruits, balanced by spice and tobacco undertones.

This aged expression opens with aromas of red berries, brownie batter, and aged leather. The palate delivers dried cherries, charred oak, and peppercorn spice, finishing with a dry, elegant blend of berries and cream, rye spice, and oak.

Doc Holliday 8-Year Bourbon – Armagnac Finish
A refined take on tradition, this bourbon is aged in French Armagnac casks, showcasing flavors of vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, figs, and apricot. The sweet and spicy profile delivers a deep, decadent sip.

"These releases mark a turning point for the Doc Holliday brand," said Alex Kogan, CEO of World Whiskey Society. "We've taken a legendary figure and crafted a bourbon lineup that's just as daring—with our first cask-finished releases that showcase innovation, depth, and character."
