Georgetown, KY - [April 27, 2026] - Introducing the first release in the Blue Run Blueprint Series, a series that celebrates the nuance found by pushing boundaries into uncharted territories - this inaugural release serves as the blueprint for what is to come.

Blended by Shaylyn Gammon, Blue Run Spirits’ Head of Whiskey and Innovation, and one of the most decorated women in American whiskey, the 105 proof Blue Run Blueprint Series Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a combination of two unique mashbills: one wheated, and the other, an experimental mash that pays homage to Blue Run’s boundary-pushing nature.

Known for delivering the unexpected in a premium manner, Gammon has truly pushed the bounds with the Blue Run Blueprint Series, utilizing an 80/15/0/5 bourbon that was laid down during the infancy of the brand.  It provides a fusely, fruit forward component that adds a unique twist on the expected, and having aged on a lower floor, it grounds the blend with these notes. The experimental mashbill, known affectionately at Blue Run as the “Founders’ Mash,” combined with our top-floor-aged wheated mashbill, gives it an unexpected woody heat, and pleasant softness resulting in a blend that must be tasted to be understood.

After extensive evaluation to develop the best possible bourbon using the brand's most intriguing barrels, Blue Run landed at 105 proof (52.5% ABV); to deliver a bold concentration of flavor while maintaining uncommon balance and silkiness. The bourbon performs equally well whether enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in an Old Fashioned.

With an MSRP of $69.99 this release is sure to secure a place of prominence on backbars this spring, marking a defining moment in the brand's evolution.

The experience begins with a nose of soft floral notes and subtle orchard fruit, followed by a palate of warm baking spice, juicy apple, and cinnamon. The finish provides toasted oak and a lingering warmth of spice with a hint of dry wood heat. Symbolizing creativity and transformation, the packaging features the signature Blue Run French-cut glass bottle, precious metal elements, and the iconic viceroy butterfly.
