This milestone not only marks a bold new chapter in the Talnua story, but also deepens its commitment to crafting heritage-inspired spirits that honor both American and Irish whiskey traditions.

The Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897 remains one of the most respected standards in American whiskey. To earn this designation, a whiskey must be the product of one distillation season, one distiller, and one distillery, aged for a minimum of four years in a federally bonded warehouse, and bottled at exactly 100 proof (50% ABV). Talnua’s achievement of this distinction underscores the distillery’s dedication to quality, transparency, and time-honored craftsmanship.

Distilled from a mash of malted and unmalted barley in traditional copper pot stills, and aged in new charred American white oak, this Bottled-in-Bond expression exemplifies the balance of bold spice, rich malt character, and deep wood influence.
