For this double-header pick we partnered with Keg N Bottle out of California. A California retailer, Keg N Bottle was established in 1981 and has been in business for over 30 years. Keg N Bottle is known for strategically engineered “Liquor Walls” and “Beer Caves.” They carry every different type of liquor imaginable, a wine for every occasion, 1,500 different beers to make you “hoppy,” and over 1,250 different kegs to choose from. Additionally, Keg N Bottle offers national delivery of every single item from their massive selection.

It’s been a while since we’ve done a Knob Creek Bourbon pick for the Club, and after the delicious Knobby Knob Knob pick we did back for SBC #5, we figured it was time to fix this! Since it’s been so long, we decided why stop at bourbon, let's also do a Knob Creek Rye pick too! Thus we set out to find two great barrels for the Club.

What we ended up with was two great barrels that we think will be club favorites. The bourbon delivers a bold sip that hones in on its bold cinnamon flavor reminiscent of Red Hot Candies. Contrasting that is a delicious rye that brings a unique yet satisfying flavor profile, just like a Hi-C Ecto Cooler (remember those?!). If you’ve never had a Hi-C Ecto Cooler, they truly are a triumph of mankind. Alright that might be a stretch, but what’s not a stretch is how nice this rye sips, and how pleased we think all who try it will be.
